Whilst EPRO strongly supports the recycling of waste plastics at a national and regional level, some types of waste plastic are still exported for recycling and where this happens EPRO members are working to ensure that there is sufficient traceability and monitoring of the supply chain, and that recycling is carried out to the appropriate standards.
The working group focusses on topics such as auditing, traceability, and compliance with national and regional regulation as well as international waste shipping agreements.
The group is Chaired by Valipac in Belgium.
